Natalie Smith, Mary Gill Art Scholarship
Natalie is a senior at Chatham High School and the winner of the Mary Gill Art Scholarship Award. She plans to study fine arts at Rutgers University.

Jessica Menchon, Honorable Mention
Jessica is a senior at Mount Olive High School and a recipient of the Honorable Mention award. She plans to
major in architecture and minor in visual arts at one of the colleges she has been accepted to, including Savannah College of Art and Design and New Jersey Institute of Technology.
“Nature has a unique beauty of its own and it has a powerful influence on architecture in many ways.
I want to use my artistic abilities to express myself and design beautiful architecture.”

Rachael is a senior at Mount Olive High School and a recipient of the Honorable Mention award. She plans to study illustration at the Delaware College of Art and Design or Montserrat College of Art.
“I am intrigued by the simple beauty of the human body; its simple features, skin tones, movements, and expressions. I strive to turn something simple and underappreciated into something interesting and unique.”

The 2012 recipient of the Mary Gill Art Scholarship is Casey Schreiner of Mount Olive High School, who plans to minor in studio art at Swarthmore College in the fall. Cassandra O’Toole of Mount Olive High School and Caroline Mazzarone of Morris Knolls High School are the recipients of the Honorable Mention. Cassandra plans to plans to study fashion design at Philadelphia University in the fall.

2011
The 2011 recipient of the Mary Gill Art Scholarship is Taylor Snyder of Mount Olive High School, who plans to study Fine Arts at Rowan University in the fall. Catalina Ouyang and Sky Su, both of Parsippany Hills High School, are the recipients of the Honorable Mention, and Emma Turner of Morris Mendham High School is the winner of the Trustees Award. Catalina plans to study Fine Arts at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in Saint Louis, Sky plans to study Fine Arts at the Edinburgh College of Art, and Emma plans to study Creative Writing with a minor in Studio Art at Tufts University.
